I stayed at this hotel located in Rosarito, which was better described as a jail cell. The rooms in the smaller building lacked coffee and were not worth the $170 a night. The service was fabulous, with friendly staff, but the room itself was awful. The location, right in the heart of the city, had terrible rooms, but I would still recommend this hotel to my friends. The dining experience was a huge letdown, although the margaritas were well made. Overall, it was an average experience considering the price paid.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The rooms were amazing, especially when you ask for the best ones, even though there was a slight issue with the hot water. The service provided was top-notch, but there were some disappointments, especially with the restaurant staff. The location was ideal, close to everything and away from the hustle and bustle, although there was a minor inconvenience at the front desk. The dining experience was fabulous with a huge Mexican/American buffet. The facilities were excellent, with great amenities available.
Staying at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The room had a cool, modern look with a beach-facing balcony, but the cold temperature and noisy wall heater were a bit of a letdown. The service was a bit hit or miss, with helpful and accommodating moments but also instances of unfriendliness. The location was great overall, though, with wonderful sunsets and close access to Ensenada. The dining experience had its ups and downs, being excellent at times but not quite worth the price in others.
